Sinfonik, is ground-breaking music licensing startup born to help artists and create better compensation models for songwriters. We are looking for a Music Business Intern to join our team. This unpaid internship is tailored to students who want to gain insights into music licensing (public performance rights), songwriting and artist promotion, and apply this knowledge in a real-world setting, in one of the most exciting music markets in the world. Responsibilities:

1. Brand Building:

   1. Support a cohesive brand presence across social media platforms.

   2. Update and enhance the company website.

   3. Curate engaging highlights and stories on Instagram.

2. Content Creation:

   1. Conduct artist interviews to showcase their work.

   2. Develop and implement a posting schedule for various milestones.

3. Strategic Planning:

   1. Help devise strategies to grow our online following and increase engagement.

   2. Explore partnerships with local businesses and artists.

   3. Help plan and execute a PR strategy for brand exposure.

4. Website Management:

   1. Add features and information to the website.

   2. Create informative video content for the website.

   3. Implement web forms functionality.

Qualifications:

• University student majoring in music or related field.

• Strong understanding of social medial platforms.

• Creative mindset and willingness to learn.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• This is a fully remote opportunity, though events with artists and the Sinfonik Team will be held in NYC. Attendance will be optional.

• Hours are flexible, up to a maximum of 20hs per week.
